Triton Media buys audience measurement specialist Ando Media
Ando Media’s other specialty is managing the ads that run in the online stream. Triton Media, backed by Oak Tree Capital, says Ando Media’s Webcast Metrics are used by over 6,800 radio stations and webcasters in the U.S. The two companies have been working together for several years, and now Triton buys the five-year-old Ando Media outright. Triton COO Mike Agovino says “connecting and expanding Ando’s dynamic technology with Triton Digital’s solutions will accelerate digital revenue growth” for the entire industry. No price announced in this transaction between two private companies, which has apparently already closed. Ando CEO Bob Maccini says “we’re excited to join the Triton family.
