Twitter posts may have led to JC Corcoran's suspension from KTRS, St. Louis
It appears the suspension of St. Louis sports KTRS-AM (550) host J.C. Corcoran was not due to what he said on the air, but what he wrote off the air. In a series of Twitter postings on Corcoran's site, he used obscene and abusive language toward people Tweeting to him, including calling three Tweeters a "douchebag," while cursing and belittling two others. While Corcoran has taken the offensive Tweets from his Twitter page, the Riverfront Times has screenshots here. The Post-Dispatch newspaper reports these Twitter feeds were the reason Corcoran was suspended for all of this week and next week. The Twitter tussle came after Corcoran predicted that Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols would sign with the team by November 18, and was taken to task by Twitter followers after that day came and went. You can read more from the Post-Dispatch here.
