United States, Great Britain Have Most Cyber Power
The National Journal has just released a new survey by The Economist Intelligence Unit entitled the “Cyber Power Index.” This index rates countries around the world on their legal and regulatory frameworks, as well as economic issues and technology infrastructure. The index points out that the United Kingdom and the United States lead all other countries when it comes to the ability to withstand cyber-attacks and developing strong digital economies. The top five countries leading their population into the digital era, according to index, are the U.K., the U.S., Australia, Germany and Canada. Countries that were not ranked in the survey lacked any sort of cyber security plan against foreign hackers.Previous and Next Stories
