Urban/Gospel combo debuts in Central Mississippi
WAGR (102.5) Lexington, MS and sister WXTN (1000) Brentwood, MS., (just outside Greenwood) have new owners and new formats to boot. Former Country WAGR becomes “Hot 102.5” with an urban format, while WXTN becomes gospel. The stations were previously owned by Brad Cothran, who died in a 2009 car crash.
