Veteran urban programmer Ken Johnson will join Clear Channel Philadelphia
Johnson will be Director of Urban Programming, overseeing Urban WUSL “Power 99” and Urban AC WDAS (105.3). He starts his new job on Monday, November 16. Johnson recently left Citadel Media in Dallas, where he was Director of Urban Programming. There, he worked with syndicated programs such as the Ride with Doug and De De, Big Boy’s Neighborhood, and The Brian McKnight Show. Prior to that, he spent ten years with Cumulus as their VP of urban programming. He’s also programmed WILD Boston, WKXS Wilmington, NC, and was morning man in his hometown of Washington DC at WHUR.
