Victor Sansone's back in Dallas, managing Citadel's country stations
It's big news in both Atlanta - where Victor's been running Citadel's "Kicks 101.5" WKHX and "Eagle" WYAY (106.7) - and Dallas, where Citadel's splitting up the GM duties. Keri Korzeniewski will now oversee news/talk WBAP (820) exclusively, while Sansone takes country KSCS (96.3) and "Twister" KTYS (96.7). Keri had been GM at the entire cluster, then owned by ABC, since 1998. Citadel's got country format battles in both markets, with Clear Channel in Atlanta ("Bull" WUBL and the new "Legends"), and with the Cumulus "Wolf" KPLX in Dallas. Citadel O&O Radio Station Group President Mitch Dolan says "without a doubt, Victor is one of the most respected country executives in the nation. Having him re-engage in the competitive Dallas/Ft. Worth music arena will ensure a wider ratings success, an improved revenue footprint and other brand extension opportunities" for the cluster. Back in Atlanta - no successor named yet for Sansone.
