WBZ, Boston GM Ted Jordan to retire
He’s been running news/talk WBZ (1030) since 1996, and also “Oldies 103” WODS, and this morning’s Boston Herald says Jordan will be announcing his retirement at a staff meeting today. CBS has recently been reducing the number of individual general managers in its big-market clusters. Mark Hannon is the CBS market manager in Boston. The Boston board’s talking about the news here.
