WFFG Glens Falls, N.Y., PD Patrick Resigns Following Accident
Country WFFG-FM (Froggy 107.1) Glens Falls/Saratoga Springs, N.Y., PD/morning man Big Mike Patrick took to the Radio-Info.com discussion boards yesterday to announce his resignation from the station.
“On June 28th, I was involved in a very bad car accident heading to work on the Northway from my home in Rotterdam to Glens Falls,” Patrick posted on the Albany/Hudson Valley board Aug. 24. “Multiple broken bones etc. laid me up till I got official clearance yesterday. This was the second accident this year, both cars getting totaled. I don’t believe [the] third time would be the charm. That being said, I have submitted my resignation to the company. Various medical people as well as my family have told me after two and a half years of this, enough is enough. At this point in my career, I absolutely NEED to have a gig closer to home. Tough as times are, I’m putting myself on the market. Anyone with suggestions/leads/help please contact me.”
VP/GM/GSM Tom Barney is seeking a replacement. Send resumes to him at tbarney@adirondackbroadcasting.com. Read the entire thread, including Patrick’s post, here.
