Will Howard Stern succeed Piers Morgan on “America’s Got Talent”?
NBC might be willing to pay the Sirius satellite radio star $15 million and perhaps even to relocate shooting from Los Angeles to New York, to accommodate him. The Wall Street Journal hears of "a deal being discussed" for Stern to "join Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne on the judge’s table.” It says Stern and the producers are in "serious negotiations" about the idea. CNN wants Piers Morgan to focus on his New York-based evening cable show, and he will be leaving "America's Got Talent" after six years. The Journal estimates it could cost NBC $10 million just to transfer production to the East coast.Previous and Next Stories
