Wilson Mourned By Broadcast Industry
Pete Wilson, afternoon anchor for News/Talk KGO-AM/San Francisco, died Friday, July 20 during hip replacement surgery. He was 62. Doctors said Wilson died of a massive heart attack while in surgery.
Wilson was also the news anchor for KGO-TV, the ABC affiliate in San Francisco.
