Winner of the Regis & Kelly "Women In Radio" contest is actually four winners
The popular daytime show has four days to fill next week when Kelly Ripa is away, and the producers decided to take four winners instead of one – so each woman gets a day. The winners are: WKQI, Detroit’s Shannon Murphy. Jayde Donovan of WXXL, Orlando. Jenn Hobby of “Q100” WWWQ, Atlanta. And Kristin Cruz of KOST, Los Angeles. Regis Philbin made the announcement on the show today, causing screams of joy in the studio at WKQI, says the Detroit News – where the “Mojo In The Morning” show cued up the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys hit “Empire State of Mind”, as a salute to Shannon’s upcoming trip to New York City.
