WSB, Atlanta talker Herman Cain resigns – to possibly run for president
The former Chairman/CEO of Godfather's Pizza and syndicated columnist has been doing evenings on Cox Radio's talk WSB (750/95.5) for the last three years, but now the Journal Constitution says he did his final show (for now) on Tuesday evening, February 1. Program director Pete Spriggs calls it "a hiatus." Cain will appear on on Erick Erickson's WSB show tonight, and Erickson will inherit the 7-10pm hours, to be followed by Dave Ramsey (10pm-1am). Cain isn't officially running for the Republican nomination, but the website for his "presidential exploration committee" is here. The Atlanta Board of Radio-Info.com is talking about Cain here.
