WWWZ, urban "Z93" Charleston, cuts ties with morning duo
More fallout from the Cumulus/Citadel merger, as Cumulus decides to cut loose the long-time morning duo of Tessa and Baby J at Urban WWWZ “Z93” Charleston. That's according to a posting by Baby J on Twitter. The show had been a winner in the market for many years, and at one point, was also heard on Citadel’s Providence, Rhode Island Rhythmic WWKX as a simulcast. The Radio-Info.com boards are predicting that the station will replace the show with the syndicated Rickey Smiley Morning Show.
