Breaking News: Baldrica Exits Sony Music Nashville
Radio-Info.com has confirmed that Sony Music Nashville VP of marketing Tom Baldrica has exited the company where he has worked since 1993. He started his career there in radio promotion, first as Southeast regional and eventually working his way up to VP of national promotion for the BNA Records imprint in 1997. He was promoted to his most recent role in 2006, and his duties included overseeing the artist development, media, creative services and strategic marketing departments for all four of Sony’s Nashville imprints: Arista, BNA, Columbia and RCA. Prior to joining BNA, Baldrica was PD at WUSZ and WCDK Duluth, Minn. He is also known for playing the tuba on Arista artist Brad Paisley’s hit single “Online,” and has also played the instrument on stage with Paisley, Kenny Chesney and other artists.
