Clear Channel Hires Replacement For CFO Randall Mays – Former WaMu Exec Tom Casey
Randall Mays is pulling back his involvement to become Vice Chairman of the Board of San Antonio-based Clear Channel Communications, and the search for his successor ends with Tom Casey. President/CEO Mark Mays says Casey “has a stellar record of meeting long-term financial and operating goals in his previous positions.” He gets credit for having “transformed finance from a reporting and control function to a strategic business partner” during his six years at Washington Mutual. He started his career in finance at Coopers & Lybrand. Casey takes on the Clear Channel job, reporting to Mark Mays, on January 1.
