Entercom Drops 2nd Shift Show

Entercom drops the early evening “2nd Shift” country show starring Alan Kabel. In April 2008, Entercom launched a couple of internally-syndicated evening shows and no doubt hoped to reap some economies of scale and create its own stars. One was “Your Time with Kim Iverson”, a hot AC show based in Austin. It’s still running. Then there was “2nd Shift”, produced out of country KWJJ Portland, Ore. It’s been airing on Entercom country stations in Seattle; San Francisco; Kansas City; Rochester, N.Y.; Greensboro, N.C.; and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa., and now goes away.
