Gaines Takes Over Programming For Cumulus In Killeen, Texas
Scott Gaines has been named operations manager of Cumulus Media’s Killeen/Temple, Texas, stations and PD of country KUSJ (US105), where he will also co-host mornings with Brenda Price. He starts his new job June 14 and replaces Evan Chancey.
Since January, Gaines has been working as a traffic announcer and producer for Westwood One in Dallas. Prior to that, he worked for two stations that changed format during his tenure there, first as APD/MD and air personality at Clear Channel’s now defunct Detroit country station WDTW (The Fox), where he spent two years, then as p.m. driver for the former KDBN (93.3 Quality Rock) in Dallas, which changed format four months after his arrival.
