Geiger, Miller Launch New Generation Programming
Country radio programming veterans Chuck Geiger and Chip Miller have teamed up to form the radio consulting and programming firm New Generation Programming. Geiger serves as the firm’s managing partner and president of programming. Miller is managing partner and president of operations. The pair plans to specialize in the country, classic rock/classic hits, AC and CHR formats.
In addition to traditional consulting services, New Generation will offer clients a turn-key localized radio station “with custom music and 100% local imaging and jock talk to complete a seamless local product,” according to a press release.
Geiger is the former PD for such stations as KHGE Fresno, Calif.; KZSN Wichita, Kan.; WCTO Allentown, Pa.; and, most recently, KTTI Yuma, Ariz. He is also managing editor of Full Throttle Country. Miller has programmed WYCD Detroit and WGKX Memphis and is the former CEO of Southern Star Broadcasting.
Geiger can be reached at chuck@newgenprogramming.com. Miller’s at chip@newgenprogramming.com. The company’s web site is here.
