Ichabod Caine Launches Internet Station

Veteran Seattle personality Ichabod Caine launches the Internet-only “Wild Boar Radio”, described on the Seattle Board of Radio-Info.com as a “country-leaning eclectic mix.” Caine's doing this venture with his wife and longtime partner, Scallops, a producer and air personality herself. Caine’s deep experience in Seattle includes working at then-Top 40 KJR (950) and KNBQ (97.3), and country KMPS (a couple of times) and KRPM. (He also once did mornings in Spokane at KJRB.) In December 2009, he left CBS Radio’s country KMPS (94.1), and now comes his own pure-play Internet “Wild Boar Radio.” Given Ichabod’s prominence in the market, his startup inspires a very lively “hobby or business” discussion about where Internet radio’s headed.
