Jim Dandy Joins Cold River Promotion Team
Quarterback Records Southwest and West coast regional Jim Dandy (pictured) exits to join the staff at Cold River Records, where he will share national promotion duties with current director of radio promotion Jeff Davis. Prior to joining Quarterback, Dandy programmed KOUL Corpus Christi, Texas. His radio background also includes stints as APD/MD at KKCB Duluth, Minn., and as a part timer at KEEY Minneapolis. In his new role, Dandy will focus on stations in the Midwest, West and Southwest, while Davis will focus on the central, East and Southeast regions. While at Quarterback, Dandy helped work Cold River flagship artist Katie Armiger to radio for the past two years. Dandy can be reached at: jim@coldriverrecords.com and 615-483-4250.
As part of the organizational changes at Cold River, Kates Robinson will be shifting to a radio support role taking on more day-to-day artist management responsibilities. Cold River is also adding Staci Schane in a new radio promotion position. Schane can be reached at: staci@coldriverrecords.com and 817-219-3389. Grassroots Promotion co-owner Nancy Tunick continues in her role as consultant/advisor to the radio promotion team.
In addition to his new staff position, Dandy also has his own independent promotion company, Jim Dandy Promotions, which has just signed on to handle radio promotion for Aria Records artist Todd O’Neill. In that role, he can be reached at jimdandy@jimdandypromotions.com.
