Sea Gayle Sets Sail With New Label
Radio-Info.com has learned that independent Nashville publishing company Sea Gayle Music is branching out with a new label division, Sea Gayle Records. Its first single release, sent digitally to radio today, is from Sea Gayle writer Jerrod Niemann, who previously was signed to the now shuttered Category 5 label.
The label has hired Rob Dalton and his team at independent promotion firm New Revolution Entertainment to work Niemann’s single, “One More Drinking Song,” to country radio. Niemann co-wrote the song with Richie Brown and co-produced it with Dave Brainard.
Sea Gayle music is owned by Brad Paisley, Frank Rogers and Chris DuBois, has had 20 No. 1 songs and more than 200 cuts since it was founded nine years ago.
