Edens Edge is managed by Hwy 7 Entertainment’s Kye Fleming and Heather Moody. To watch their “Introducing Edens Edge” video feature, click here. Their apparently not updated MySpace page still lists the band as “unsigned.”
• Jimmy Buffett and the Zac Brown Band team up for a new episode of “CMT Crossroads,” premiering March 19 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on CMT. Taped before an invitation only audience, Jimmy Buffett and Zac Brown Band perform each other’s hit songs including Buffett’s “Margaritaville” and “Son of a Sailor” and Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried” and “Toes.”
• Dierks Bentley is continuing his nationwide “Miles & Music for Kids” celebrity motorcycle ride and concert series with a stop in the Dallas/Fort Worth market on April 25. Presented by Nationwide Insurance, proceeds from the event will benefit both the Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Cook Children’s in Fort Worth. The hour-long ride will depart Harley-Davidson of North Texas and travel to the famous Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. The trek will culminate with a special concert featuring Bentley and five surprise Texas music stars.
• Brad Paisley will bring Darius Rucker, Justin Moore, Josh Thompson and Steel Magnolia out on the road with him later this year on his 2010 H2O Tour of amphitheaters. Dates and markets will be announced shortly.
• Phil Vassar continues his global touring trek with a first time performance in Australia this weekend at the third annual “CMC Rocks The Snowys 2010” festival in Thredbo on March 6. Vassar heads to Australia on the heels of his first whirlwind tour of Europe where he performed in five countries in a week to rave reviews.
