Rickey Smiley returns home to Birmingham
More good news for Rickey Smiley. His syndicated morning show adds another new affiliate – on top of three new affiliates last week and a rumored additional affiliate in the Carolinas to debut. This one is in his home town of Birmingham on the recently re-launched “Neo-Soul” WENN (101.9), owned by Cox. He started on the air March 9, 2010. The station previously did not have anyone in morning drive. It recently launched its new format on February, 16.
