He can be reached at DTaylorGM@aol.com, phone 973-864-5074 … Last week, Radio-Info.com reported the departure of Matt Patrick from Hot AC WKDD (98.1) Akron, where he’s done mornings for 30 years. But his job at sister WHLO (640), where he did a late morning talk show, was still up in the air. Now, Ohio Media Watch reports Patrick will leave that station as well. He’ll be gone from both jobs by mid-December … Premiere’s syndicated “Keep Hope Alive with the Rev. Jesse Jackson” is added to WLBG (860) Laurens, SC for Sunday mornings, 10 am – noon … Charles Potter, a longtime news anchor on KWPC (860) Muscatine, IA resigned on air – in a poem. NorthPine.com reports the poem expressed Potter’s frustration with management, which said the station’s staff was “average.” Potter had been heard on the station 12 years. … Atlanta’s classical/talk WABE (90.1) reached over $1 million in support from listeners in its fall pledge drive, the fourth time the station has been able to achieve this feat. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the take is up 9.8% from last year’s Fall drive.
