FMR’s Bruce Fohr is investing in the Eastlan Ratings company, bringing his 32 years of research experience to the service run by Mike Gould. Fohr also brings his existing call center in Tucson, and that operation will handle “the entire fielding operations” of Eastlan. Fohr began as a research associate with Frank Magid Associates in 1977 and left in 1980 to start up Communications Research in Tucson with Surrey’s Ken Dennis. A year later, Fohr launched FMR Associates to do perceptual and programming research. Eastlan is privately held and says it’s now doing work for subscribers in more than 90 U.S. markets.
