London’s Daily Mail reveals that there may be changes upcoming for BBC Radio One. Highly-paid morning host Chris Moyles, who took a 20% pay cut when he signed a one year deal for approximately $850,000 to stay on Radio One, may be bounced from the highly-coveted morning shift due to low ratings. The 35-year old Moyles has been at the center of a number of controversies during his five-year run, including making jokes about Auschwitz and using abusive language on the air. Moyles' morning show dropped 700,000 listeners in the last quarter. TV host Vernon Kay, who already has a weekend show on BBC Radio One and good relations with management, is considered a potential front runner for Moyles' morning slot.
