Kirby Wilbur was a mainstay on Seattle radio, and one of the leaders of the conservative movement on radio in Seattle. Following his show, Wilbur was brought in to the office and given the news. As for a replacement, Radio-Info has been told by a KVI-AM (570) staffer that “We're still working on that.” Wilbur started out in radio as a frequent caller to the station and was then given a part-time hosting position in 1993 that blossomed into afternoon drive. He moved to mornings in 1995. Wilbur has also been a guest fill-in host for the syndicated Sean Hannity. The discussion about the loss of Wilbur on KVI has already begun on the Radio-Info Seattle board – Discuss it.
