The latest holiday conversions include CBS Radio’s Oldies WODS (103.3) and Greater Media’s Classic Hits WROR (105.7) . The Boston Board reports they went within minutes of each other early Friday afternoon … Syracuse, New York’s WYYY-FM (94.5) drops their “Best Mix” A/C music for Christmas songs … Chattanooga’s WLND (98.1) – normally, classic country “Legends”, is now classic country Christmas … KFMP (87.7) Lubbock Texas-area Channel 6 low power TV just went all Christmas radio, focusing on Country Holiday songs. KFMP has been airing a modern rock format, but its expected to start with a fresh new format, after the Christmas holiday … AC “My 102” WMYI Greenville, SC went All Christmas music as of Nov. 12, and now so has Entercom’s “Magic 98.9” WSPA-FM. Discuss the change … Tampa-based internet radio pioneer radioio.com launches three free Christmas music channels: Christmas Traditions which plays traditional Christmas carols and standards; Country Christmas, which is featuring contemporary country artists doing holiday music; and Today’s Christmas, a mix of new and traditional Christmas music.
