Former Sirius Alternative Nation channel programmer and current WFUV-FM (90.7) Fordham University content director Rich McLaughlin moves to Clear Channel New York as Digital Services PD … Westwood One promotes two from its Engineering team. Mitch Glider becomes VP of Engineering, while Jeremy Schumacher is named VP, Broadcast Information Technology … Westwood One also adds CBS News Travel Editor Peter Greenberg’s one-minute “Peter Greenberg WorldWide” to its list of programming available for affiliates … Boston’s WTKK-FM (96.9) adds Compass Media Networks' Ron Insana for daily business commentaries … Former Vermont Public Radio president Mark Vogelzang is named interim-GM of the University at Buffalo’s WBFO-FM (88.7) … DCRTV reports that Steve Ray is named producer for the syndicated Randi Rhodes show. Ray is a D.C. radio vet. Ironically, he says he also produces the local version of theh Mark Levin Show on WMAL-AM (630), “one of Randi’s most-hated shows” … In Phoenix, KNIX-FM (102.5) morning hosts Ben & Matt begin their annual “Million Can Crusade” to collect 1,000,000 cans of non-perishable food for charity … WSDP-FM (88.1) in Plymouth, Michigan will be the new radio home for the Ontario Hockey League’s Plymouth Whalers.
