Entercom is selling off some of its tower assets

The buyer: consolidator American Tower. That netted $4.5 million for the just-ended third quarter and should add more cash to the Entercom coffers this quarter. CFO Steve Fisher told Monday’s conference call it’s a matter of dealing with increasing demand for tower space, and believing that it’s better to let companies which specialize in tower management take over.
