I have tried and tried to give 105.3 The Fan a chance but they are now driving me nuts.

They constantly talk about the Cowboys and totaling ignoring the rest of Dallas sports world. As I write this, I understand the other Dallas teams are not doing so hot but jeez at least Galloway and Company (103.3 ESPN) take a few minutes out of their day to talk about something other than the Cowboys.

The Fan also ignored for the most part the NASCAR races this past weekend and is it not NASCAR that got this whole format change ball rolling?

As for their adds about how the are a listener driven station then I guess the station will soon be driven into a brick wall because there will soon be no one at the wheel if they continue to ignore the rest of the sports world in the Dallas area.

Well They ARE "Cowboys Radio" as they call themselves during the games. i guess they figure The Ticket and ESPN got the rest covered.

I was thinking the same thing sathman01. In fact I sent a text to one of the shows the other day that said the very same thing. The worst is Arnie Spanier I mean this guy sounds like a total homer he never talks about anything other than the Cowboys. I know they're the "home of the Cowboys" but c'mon mix it up a little. ESPN is the "home of the Mavs" but at least they acknowledge other Dallas teams.

Love their new slogan "more and more fans are switching every day"... yeah, switching back to The Ticket.  If you want sports listen to The Ticket or even ESPN not 105.3 The Fail.

The screwed up thing about Arnie Spanier is he is from New York and educated in Arizona and only just recently came to Texas.

I live in L.A., so excuse me for this question: Is the Fan doing better in the ratings that Live 105.3?

Since that's the case, I don't know why CBS would kill FM Talk in markets where it clearly worked? (Dallas, L.A.)

When I was driving from L.A. to Louisiana a month ago, I tuned into 105.3 in the morning, and became annoyed of the constant complaining of the Cowboys and IF they will make the playoffs! Not to mention, that morning show (whoever it is, don't know the name) sounded so much like a lame morning zoo...
